About the Museum
On October 7, 2015, the “International Numismatic Club” with an exposition museum hall opened in Bolshoy Afanasyevsky Lane in Moscow. The museum is located in the restored historical building of the Zinoviev—Yusupov chambers, built in the 17th century.
The INC Museum was established by the initiative of a major entrepreneur Vagit Alekperov. The exposition is fully formed on the basis of V.Y. Alekperov's personal collection.
The INC Museum works closely with the scientific and museum community and supports research in the field of numismatics.
The INC Museum is a member of the most authoritative Russian and international organizations:

— International Numismatic Council, INC (Membership is temporarily suspended.)
The museum hosts conferences, lectures, business meetings and thematic exhibitions in partnership with the largest state museums and private collectors.
The museum is proud of its modern interactive equipment. Visitors can view the coins’ descriptions on the tablets; view the coins’ obverse and reverse sides’ images photographed in excellent quality and high resolution. For each showcase, additional information about the corresponding era, events and personalities is provided.

About the building
The Zinoviev-Yusupov Chambers, located in Bolshoy Afanasyevsky Lane, is the oldest house in the district, the only large stone chambers of the 17th century, to the north of Prechistenka. The fact alone that its facade stands out beyond the red line of the alley suggests that it has been standing here for a very long time and presents a benevolent history.
In 1685, P. Zinoviev, a noble, built stone chambers here after which the Zinoviev family’s representatives owned the building for more than a hundred years. One of them was Irina Mikhailovna, the wife of Peter’s midshipman and Moscow governor, Prince Boris Yusupov. At the end of the 18th century, the house was passed to Leo Nikolaevich Tolstoy's great-grandfather, Count Andrei Ivanovich Tolstoy. The last owner of this house before the revolution was Leo Tolstoy's wife’s brother, Alexander Andreevich Bers, a full state councillor, Oryol vice-governor.
In 2010, the restoration of the building began, in early 2012, it was completed. For this work, "Preobrazhenskoye" Traditional Culture Center (project manager — architect Tatyana Borisova) received the prize of the “Moscow Restoration 2012” competition.
On December 15, 2015, Vagit Alekperov was awarded the “Phoenix” Prize as part of the 4th International Cultural Forum in St. Petersburg. The award was presented by the Minister of Culture of the Russian Federation Vladimir Medinsky. The prize was awarded for assistance in architectural monuments’ preservation and their adaptation to modern use.
